Citizens for Approval Voting

Mission Statement

Citizens for Approval Voting is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that works to educate all people about Approval Voting and the benefits that it can bestow on those conducting or participating in single winner elections.

Our primary goal is to have as many people as possible be aware of Approval Voting and regard it as a highly desirable election reform.

We also:

• help advocates communicate the benefits of Approval Voting;
• help early adopters conduct Approval Voting elections and measure their effectiveness;
• work to refine the best formulation for Approval Voting rules and ballots;
• work to communicate best practices for successfully using Approval Voting.
